Finally mounted the MGB on to the jig, I am hoping to get it tilted over soon so I can start cleaning the underneath. The floor on the passenger side is nearly ready for fitting and I am close to getting some of the new sill metal welded in. I have also started lining up the inner wings.
I have also acquired another engine, reported to be in A1 condition, a runner with low miles and a guarantee that it will run.
The company I got the engine through break MGB's for spares and have promised they will give me a call when there next car is down to a shell so I can come along and cut out some bits I cannot buy, mainly the section behind the pedal box, if I can graft in a non-rusted piece I will save alot of time compared to trying to fabricate the damaged section myself.
